New suspension for the FC!
 

weeee! After over 3 weeks in the mail, my HKS D-Spec coilovers arrived today.

lol, it took me about 1/2 hour to slap 'em on.

This is ridiculous, in two weeks there will be two white S5 FCs in Santa Cruz with coilovers, hahahahaha. Sweet car man, are you planning on going to any meets soon? Maybe we should meet sometime and tear up some canyons :P

YES! A few friends and I have a little touge club in the SC mountains....if you wanna join us for a drive sometime, you're more than welcome. :)

I think the next drive is tomorrow afternoon.

Oh I don't know about tomorrow, my TII handles like poop because of old sagging worn out suspension. I like the ride height though, really really low, but a crappy ride and no fun in the mountains. My white FC will be ready in a week and a half or so, so hopefully I can actually hit Empire Grade without thinking I'm gonna die.

heh, Yep, Spirit. :). The AGX money went straight into these. I guess I live in a pretty good neighborhood, because shit like that never happens around here. My car got keyed once a few years ago, but never broken into. *crosses fingers*

jeff_man, The suspension is HKS D-Spec coilovers. They came with springs and shocks together, camber plates, and a couple of wrenches to adjust them. Pretty much par for the course when you buy coilovers. Here they are: http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=1500

speed_monkey, The ride is Stiff with a capital "S". I have JIC FLTA-2s on my other car, so I'm used to it. Definately not a family car set-up. If you have crappy roads where you live, I'd go for a set of Teins instead.
