I was testing a multicam setup in the car,
using regular old cheapie security cameras.

The song is Orbital - Halcyon and On and On. It can be found on the "Hackers" soundtrack along with other good music.

I'd like to know what he's using for video capture hardware. I've been trying to source the Security DVR's used on school busses and mass transit. But the frame rate on our local units is 5 FPS... Not good enough for me.

security camera > BNC to RCA Adapter > Video Game Switcher > Output to Regular DV Camera > Movie Maker II (Free on Windows)

Definitely looked like an Rx8 commercial until you past it and left it. Then it felt like someone was going to say "And that is why you should buy *insert other sports car*"

I need tofind a recorder that'll take in four or so inputs at the same time.

Well in some time Alex(directfreak) is going to have a really hard time to keep up or even pass that particular RX-8 although Alex is up to a couple of tricks/upgrades to his ride. :)
Hint: Look a little closer to the tag on the RX-8 to see what I meant.

That tag must say LS7 RX8 :)
