Civic with a 13B - HUH!

One of my Honda buddies sent this to me. Nice fab work though.

wow

zack4173 04-17-08 12:26 AM

I have never seen a 13b with 800WHP pretty close but never in the 800s

MonkeyMagic 04-17-08 12:29 AM

I'm impressed. I would love to see some videos of it moving. Great fabrication.

namelesspenguin 04-17-08 01:59 AM

NICE:icon_tup: When I read the title I thought to myself, "Oh wow, its gonna be that gay riced out purple one from Puerto Rico or something". But I was pleasantly surprised.

thats crazy, looks cool though for sure.

dregg100 04-17-08 11:43 AM

deffinately cool, but thats no 800 hp car. stock s4 exhaust manifold connected to a pipe? lol.

hatemy7 04-17-08 07:46 PM

that is the best civic that I have ever seen

namelesspenguin 04-18-08 12:39 AM

:icon_tdow for the Honda oil filter on a 13B

reddevil4896 04-18-08 08:45 AM

at that point woudlnt it probably be cheaper to get a real car...um like an rx7?

You'd rather see a Fram on there?

Fram:
1996 Honda Civic: PH3593A
1985 Mazda RX-7: PH3593A
1995 Mazda RX-7: PH6607 (Smaller... Upgrade to the 3593A and have more filtration.)

Purolator:
1996 Honda Civic: 14459
1985 Mazda RX-7: 14459
1995 Mazda RX-7: 14612 (See note on Fram filters)

Crossref baby... It's the same damn filter. Probably made by the same damn company as the Mazda OEM filters.

Note that the S2000 has compatible differential gears to the NA RX-7 as well. :p:

Holy shit!! What are the max capacities of the standard silicone couplers that people use? With clamps like that, how much boost y'all think he's running?!

willub and company 04-18-08 11:03 AM

now that is one cool car. gotta give it to him on the fabrication, that is really a work of art.

some silly quotes from the kids in that thread..

haha pretty cool.. rotary motors are funny

curious to see if things overheat?? rotorys are notorious for overheating.

i wanna see is a honda wit a srt4 engine!
and of course the title of the thread is pretty silly, i'm sure most of you will agree that.........

Re: EK Civic + 13B Rotary + Huge Turbo = the new Civette?
is not a "big" turbo for a rotary..

scottwmas 04-18-08 11:07 AM

Jesus wept! What size tires are gonna go on that baby?

I had a Renault 5 GTTurbo (1400cc 8v turbo) that belonged to Dimma motorsports. She was pushing 250Bhp at the wheels and it used to torque steer into the kerb! I had some proper fat tires up front but I could spin them up no worries!
Really nice work tho, wouldnt like to drive it in the wet! ha, ha!

dregg100 04-18-08 01:16 PM

with that tiny turbine housing he isnt going to be running much boost.

BAHUMAT2JZ 04-19-08 12:11 PM

wow....crazy civic

junito1 04-19-08 12:54 PM

+1 on the great fab.

HE did an awsome job on everything exept the exhaust manifold super extension to the front mount turbo..... he should of made a properly made one peice manifold. im sure the stocker will limit flow

That Rx-7 kid 04-19-08 05:28 PM

yea +1.....but I still want that haha

93rx74lyfe 04-21-08 06:42 PM

Anyone know where the oil cap came from??

BASTARD 04-21-08 08:40 PM

thats pretty wild, the motor mount is hard core and that radiator is a bit small. I am sure the stock exhaust manifold will work, but i dought he will see 450fwhp. It looks to be a Turbonetics 60-1 or 62-1 with a .81 hotside and a S4 block... that thing is gonna go kaboom when they try hitting 30 psi

dregg100 04-21-08 11:41 PM

the hotside isnt big enough for 30 psi

88t2romad 04-22-08 01:00 AM

im srue that fuel line will hold up to 800HP

LOL!!!!

t04tii 04-22-08 09:21 AM

800 hp...haha! Thats Honda.. the power of dreams

joeleo1 04-22-08 11:23 AM

I ask why, but give props. That is some serious dedication to doing something so unique.
