anyone tried this out? doesnt look like a bad deal..i been thinking of getting a wideband so i gotta start saving up!
plus it comes with a EGT sensor so thats a plus, for the price seems like a no brainer.

wil this be good with rtek?

i have one the fc im geting has one and my buddys z car will have one

magnus.rx7 06-21-06 08:44 PM

dude it comes only with EGT connector, not the sensor. The EGT probe costs $77 from their site. It's also more expensive than other widebands if you include the cost of the display. $399 vs $350 for Innovate LM-1 or PLX M300. Knew that $279 was too good to be true!

The zt-2 does not have a linear output. If you plan on connecting it to the Rtek 2.0, you need one with a linear output to get accurate readings on the logger.

I currently have one in supercharged FC, and I can say its well worth the money, has data loging option, can easly add boost and egt for complete dataloging.

The display is readable in direct sunlight.

I can say that this unit is well worth the money, I'm going to purchase another for my FD soon.

I might add we have a Palm version of the datalogging software for the Zt-2. You can use it instead of the display...

The Zt-2 is a very nice unit, especially with all the stuff it datalogs. It's a great value for guys with no other way to log the things it can log. But most of that stuff can already be logged with the Rtek 2.0, with the exception of EGT.
