S5 Rtek 1.7 on S5 JDM ecu

So I have a complete JDM S5 swap in one of my S4s (block, harness, and ECU). Eventually it blew up, so I had another used S5 JDM block put in. While it was getting put in I sent my JDM S5 ECU out to Rtek and had them install Rtek 1.7

Anyways, got the second engine in there, 750cc secondary injectors, and got the Rtek ECU in there. Engine starts up fine but runs rough and acts like it is EXTREMELY rich.

I am just trying to narrow down possibilities, so I am wondering if having the Rtek 1.7 installed on an S5 JDM ECU and not on a S5 USDM ECU would have anything to do with it? Or does it not matter in this case?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Shouldn't matter at all.

So I emailed Rtek, here is a transcript:

My question:
"Hello, not too long ago I sent you guys an S5 JDM ecu for a Mazda Rx7 and had you instal Rtek 1.7 on it. I didn't think to inquire if it mattered that the ECU was a JDM ECU and not a USDM ECU. The engine it is to be used for is a JDM engine with complete JDM wiring harness.

Will it matter that it was installed on an S5 JDM ECU and not a S5 USDM ECU?
"

Rteks response:
"It shouldn't....though I've heard two stories. There are plenty that
work, but there are some that have a problem with the rear injectors
not firing. I have been unable to isolate why. I think it has
something to do with the harness and the problem is present even with
the stock ECU. The Rtek itself definitely works in the N374."

start simple man, check, for example your coolant temperature sensor. if your computer doesn't know the engine coolant temperature, its just gonna dump fuel. I've got rtek 1.7 on mine with 850cc secondaries and i had a rich problem. turns out it was the coolant temp sensor.
