Rtek7 N370 issues
 

I got the new rtek 2.0 (N370) this week, and have already switched to MAP based timing and got my car running today. For the timing map I used Arghx's conservative leading/split timing maps posted in the other threads. (Thanks btw :nod: )

My setup:
stock s5 turbo block
custom FMIC
bnr stage 2
720/1000
and other, but not important for this.

My problem is that the indexes for the fuel map for boost is not accurate for the s5 turbo rtek. I was trying to adjust fuel while my car was ideling, but my AFR was not chaning at all. (btw I have a AEM UEGO wideband, and also have it hooked up to pin 3F and adjusted properly). I was running about 10.8 AFR, and wanted to get it up to high 12s low 13s, which is what I was running with rtek 1.8 and SAFC Neo before. Now I have removed the SAFC completly if anyone was curious.

Next I decided to log my fuel and timing indexes for boost and rpms and then check where the values were taken from. The rpms were all dead on with no problem, but the boost values for fuel did not match at all with the idex values on the palm in the tables. This is making it very difficult for me to adjust my fuel.

I've been trying to figure out myself the indexes for the tables by looking at my log, but since I can't go into boost really by reving in neutral, and I refuse to drive on these salty Ohio roads at this time of year... this is all I came up with so far:

Well, this is all I could come up with for now.

I got the n370 also. and I seem to have the same problem. at idle of 800rpm my afr doesnt change no matter the fuel correction I put, but when I drive it does change according to the fuel correction.

My pressure reading on my palm doesnt show below -12mmhg but my engine idles at 800 and at -15mmhg, I am starting to think thats probably why it doesnt change at idle, but once I drive and the pressure goes higher then -12mmhg, my wideband is seeing changes due to the fuel correction.

I am guessing the adjustment range is too limited. -12mmhg - 16psi seems to be the range the ecu can handle?
But when I am logging the map sensor does read below -12mmhg, it is at same value as shown in my boost gauge.

Btw I forgot to say I have the latest pocketlogger software, build 4.

My vacum idle is about -17 on average, so do you have a boost gauge? does it read the same? My boost gauge reads about the same as the rtek. You might have a vacum leak?

Anyways, I have comfirmed that the boost index do not match or are even close to the ones on the palm. Here is my log that I forgot to post, which I used to derive the previous post information. I did get to change my idle AFRs, but by chaning different cells, which matched with the other indexes that I have posted before.

Also, I would love the crank fuel adjustment for the s5 turbo, since now that i took out the safc I can't start the car anymore at 30deg temps :(.

look in the logging variables and log the fuel index variables and the timing index variables. The S5 ecu may not have an open loop idle the s4 t2 ecu does.

So I started the car again, did a standing burnout... in the snow lol, cuz I refuse to drive it on the streets cuz of all the salt, and I only managed to get 2.6psi out if it, but after analyzing the new log, I am convinced that the indexes on the palm for the fuel tables, are completly off. Is there going to be a new build for the Palm software that will fix this?
