Supercharger with an RTek

Anyone have any experience running a supercharger with an Rtek? I was planning on getting my S4 NA ecu chipped with a stage 2. I figured the NA ecu would work because the kit is supposed to work on a stock NA car so a chipped NA ecu seemed logical.

Searched and found only one mention of someone using a Rtek on their supercharged 7.

It's not a common route because the ease of getting turbo parts that bolt on.

In the case of turbocharging an NA, we tell people to switch to the turbo AFM/MAP/and ECU as it will run better because you are not tricking the ECU into handling fuel calculations for pressures above atmospheric.

How does the kit handle fueling on a stock NA? RRFPR? Additional injectors?

If you're going to go that route have a s4 turbo ecu chipped and run the turbo vaf and map sensors so the ecu can actually read air entering the engine at boost.

**** so im gonna have to change the harness? It makes sense what you are saying i just wonder why paxton wouldnt have you swap out the ecu and map. Im also just curious as to what changing it would affect vs not? Im new to boost and want to understand as much as possible before i install the supercharger

What would be the harm/downside of running the rtek NA ecu though?

I don't think that the N/A ECU would see Boost so it can't compensate fuel in relation to boost...but the TII ECU can.
That's my guess.

The original paxton kit used a rising rate fpr to compensate for this. Going with a S4 NA rtek just because it was readily available and cheap. We shall see how it fares. Ill try to keep this thread updated as i learn things because there is a shortage of supercharger info for our cars. Most threads just say they got one then several posts later the motor is blown and for blower is for sale.

Dont really care about blowing my motor because it will give me a reason to port.
