Error trying to view logs in PLViewer
 

It keeps saying "Error: Unsupported parameter ID 123"

I don't know whats wrong with it.

I'm just trying to view a log that has already been saved to my pc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you read the sticky FAQ?

As for the error, please upgrade to the latest viewer. (link is in the FAQ as well) There was a change in the way the logs were stored between version 1 and version 2 of the PocketLOGGER software. The version of the PLViewer has to match the version of the PocketLOGGER software that the log was made with.

Thank you, I upgraded to thenew version of Pocket Logger but I guess the version of PLViewer I found isn't the newest version.

Oh wait, so if I recorded the log with the old version of pocket logger than I can't view it with the new version of PLviewer? I think i get it now.....

I'll make sure everything is updated and I'll try to view a newly recorded log.


The FAQ did help me to find the PLviewer and explained alot of other stuff, like how to transfer logs from the Palm to my PC, I just had an error come up when trying to view an old log with the new PLViewer.

what are the current versions of PLViewer and Pocketlogger?

I have Pocketlogger v1.03 and PLViewer v2.05d...

2.0 is the latest pocketlogger

i have firmware 1.00 whats 1.03?

1.03 is the POCKETLOGGER version, NOT firmware.

wait a minute, i just installed Pocketlogger v 2.00 and I stll can't view logs in PLViewer v 2.05d .
When i try to view an old log in PLViewer it still says that "unsupported parameter id 123" thing, plus now i can't view my olds logs on my plam anymore either.

When I try to view the info on the old logs, its says "pl2 lookup failed" it keeps showing that message box after i click ok and then it finally displays info on a log that isn't even visible on my palm, and it shows a different date, todays date actually, and the ecu is displayed as an S4 NA ecu for these "ghost logs".

I already posted another thread on this, I'll delete it, I just thought it was a separate issue until I realized i still couldn't view logs on my PLViewer either...

whats up with these ghost logs , an NA ECU??? I'm confused and all I did was install the updated software.
