The left column is your placement in the class. The total column is your best time. The number under the bold number is your time minus the best time in class. The +1, +2 is cone hits.

How come lots of data is missing? I took a ton of runs and there are no times for them. I DNF'd on the first couple and all the rest of my clean runs are missing.

DNF can also stand for did not follow, meaning you went around the wrong side of cones, or in many instances, people would skip the slalom, pivot around the wrong cone(s) on the outlet arean, or just miss gates. Course walks are rather important. :)
Hopefully we can have time slips next year and hand them out and if people think they are doing well and are having problems, they can ask the staff to ride along, or drive for them, to help them get the layout of the course correct. |

Oh see, now that I know I didn't suck completely at this racing thing I think I'll be doing this again! (Right so I'd be doing it anyway since it's so damn fun) Started out granny speed but I think I'm getting the hang of it.
I can't thank you organizers and workers enough for letting me discover the joys of autoX. First time ever I pushed the car (and driver) like that. I had a blast learning. Now I gotta run to the auto store. I think my girl deserves an oil change... For the record on that dnf my dad was driving ;) |
the excel file is zipped so you will need to down load winzip to unzip it. winzip is a free program you can get by searching for it in any search engine. .

WOW I can not believe I got 3rd in class I was totally playing around if anyone out there saw my driving style im sure they would agree. I was side-ways at every turn maybe I should have tried harder. I know rob in his 1st gen is going to give me crap that he beat me by nearly 3 second but oh well I was not trying and he was HA. If any one has pics of that pm me I would like to see how far out i was able to get her. I was driving the red second gen with black wheels and mazda on the side cant miss it.

Same thing with Chuck (RX3) He would have for sure gotten second in the "first gen" class if he wasn't screwing around so much. He thought it was funny to do burnouts when starting out since Ryan was behind him. He called them "love sprinkles" So I'm sure that added at least a second or two onto his time every time. Either way, I had tons of fun riding along with him. |

I don’t remember seeing any powerade signs. was it the track with the 360 turn, or the one with the long slalom?

North side had the slaloms and the south course had the 360.

okay, there was one straight of the staging lanes, that was the south track. the one where you had to turn left from the staging lanes was north track. |
what's the best way to go about the 360? I never got a handle of it... either understeered too much or spun out never the right way!!! :(

What I did was, enter slow and clutch kick out half way into the 360. Not neccessary the fastest way out, but dammit; it was damn cool as i came out sideways. |
