2007 Revo?

It seems that this year was dumped because of a lack of fore planning and some other circumstances. Is anyone looking to take over the planning for a Revo 2007? Or is this get together over for good? Seems like planning needs to start now if there is to be a 07 Revo.

I agree and I am willing to work on it, I have been wanting to meet up with keynote to discuss his interest in 2007 first.

Rotary Revo 2007

Yes I`am willing to do some footwork if needed Please keep me informed. I was very disappointed of this year and really had fun in 2005 despite the cold weather. :) :)

We need to talk to Aron and see what's up.

Is anyone planning anything for next year? Is anyone planning to?

PortedRotorTuner 08-25-06 01:06 AM

I'm hoping to see the Rev revive for 07'

I sent Aron a detailed PM on another forum offering my/our (RC3) assistance and haven't recveived a response yet. I have NO idea what's going on over there.

Even though I don't have a whole lot to offer and don't own a RX-7, I would definitely be willing to help out with future Revos. I have enjoyed them very much in the past and would love to continue to attend the Revos. I DO know that Aron has been extremely busy with his family, and has not been able to do a whole lot outside of work and home. But, I haven't seen any posts from Mike. Has anyone tried contacting him??? Maybe he has some thoughts/suggestions on all of this.

Railgun 09-03-06 11:12 AM

I've tried contacting him several times on multiple fronts with no success.

I CANT BELIEVE THAT SOMETHING SO HUGE NO MORE THAN A YEAR AGO IS JUST GONNA FALL APART LIKE IT NEVER EXISTED!! If it cant be in indy, lets do it somewhere else. I can think of a million places in NY it can be done. Lets get something started. If the original creators dont want to be involved, we'll start a new one. Lets go people!

Railgun 10-01-06 06:14 PM

NY is not centralized. That was part of the appeal for this event. Although...there is Sevenstock out west...

I don't like MRR due to the fact that it's not a participation event. It's more of a watched event. However, the East coast doesn't have anything either, at least, not like this.

Email me at admin@chicagorotary.com to tell me what you're thinking.
