Nitto tires

Hi guys. I need some help. I want to get a set of rear tires for my FD. I would like to get either the Mickey Thompson STREET DRAG RADIAL TIREs or the Nitto Drag Radials. It will be on the FD Stock Rims. I want to be close to the 28X10X16 size. Anyone is using this kind and size of tires?? What size do you have on this tires?? Please Help me on this. Thanks in Advance...:icon_tup:

28 will rub, you want 26

Et street 26x10.5x16 or 26x11.5x 16 the 10.5 is really 9.x and the 11.5 is really 10.5 contact patch, personally I ran better 60's on the 10.5 even though smaller contact patch

Hoosier quick time pro's are pretty bad ass

Not much experience with drag radial, except for hearing people bitch how they don't like them, but there's many who run them and love them, but if your serious about drag get a bias ply tire

Hey Bacon! What do run as far as pressure goes?
I usually run somewhere around 13 PSI, but was told that 20 PSI works better?

8.5 psi cold was my magic #, sounds crazy low but I think it's my combo (sinterized single disk, FCV, and 7600 2step and no interior)most of my friends had best success 9-12 psi
20 is way to high, I mean I would put 20 In to make it easy to roll on/off the Dollie :-)

I am running nittos and they are great for street/track but even at 10psi I get mucho wheel spin, you have to really need to get them hot to stick, if you are not a serious drag racer go with nittos. I just recently picked up a set of Mickeys but I have not tried them yet.
