Yah that's the weight I put in.

In 2011, at this level, these rotary engines are running a lot more custom internal/engine parts than most are aware of... Now, I am in no way trying to take away from the progression of hp/et through the years of the rotary, I brag about mine and everyone elses accomplishments with these little "stcock" mazda engines. But none the less, a lot is changing, for the better, and it's about damn time. :icon_tup:

Housings and rotors are stock so what is left? Apex seals? It's still a basically stock long block and the 2jzs can't come near that

Who said that?? That was probably the case 5-6 yrs ago but certainly not now.. There's probably more financial backing for some PR teams than most NHRA teams.

I dont' care how long ago or where you live- in order to run a full tube chassis car competitively you have to have big big bucks. In most cases, whoever has the most money is going to be at the top of the food chain. Look what happened to NHRA when Alanabi first came in and all the other cars he sponsered. It takes money to be on top. I have been preaching that since day one. You can kid yourself all day long about backyard racers doing this and that, but all the top racers have big bucks. It's really not that hard. You have money you buy the best parts, the best tuners and the best drivers= #1

Looks like New Generation has got plenty of money to throw down so I see them going faster and faster.
