M/T 275 Pro Radial, Fit?
I have a car that is setup to Roll Race at air strip events.
And really want to put a 15" beadlocked Weld wheel and a 275 pro on it this season. I had a stock fd wheel with a 255 DR and traction was not the greatest. We plan to make another 150whp ( made 760 last setup) for so this season and will need all the help i can get. I know i will need to grind/roll etc. Just looking for someone who has fit a 28" tire on the back. Thanks, Jared |
You need to check the rules you'll be competing under. DR aren't allowed for many of high speed events like the Texas Mile.

They are allowed here. Its not a mile, i hate the texas mile. Its only 1500 feet.

I believe Bacon runs a 28" tire

Awesome man, you should get a helmet with a big smiley face on it.

28" can fit
However, it's got to be proper, Properly (flush rolled) fenders Right rims Right ride height Only have experience with mt drag but they "grow" like crazy, thought I was good on all above accounts, halfway into the first dyno pull the tire grew enough to catch mudflap bolt, by by mudflap bolt, then the edge of the mudflap got to meet the tire, cut a slit to the chords b4 I saw the smoke of heard the screams Attachment 548174 Attachment 548173 Samrico ran a 28" (the red Fd that did wheelies) and roan (speednyc) runs a 27" The 27 nice compromise from "just fits" 28 to "I wish they were bigger" 26 |
