Driveshaft shop axles

Just wondering if anyone has used them and how they have held up??

zinx 02-06-10 02:39 PM

I use them. I stripped the splines off of one, they replaced it for free and I haven't had a problem since. 1.47 60'

Good to hear. Never felt so helpless when I got to the line, got ready to launch and SNAP. Car was fine on a street tire, once I put the ET streets on I didn't even get to make one pass

I have pulled 1.28 60ft so far and i'm sure it's going to get better.
DSS axles are holding up like a champ.
Definitely the best way to go..

I got their stage 5 kit.

1.5 60s with 8500rpm drops. Holding fine.

r the driveshaft shop outer stubs same spline like the fd hub?
or r they bigger where machining of the hub is needed?

Geez im still on my stock axles(with 140k) cutting mid 1.5's low 1.6's, no two step though that just reving around 7500 and dump. Only putting down 475rwhp too. I bought a spare axle from napa and never used it but im sure if i didnt buy it i would have broke it. Already blew my diff once on the ET's.
