Can someone recommend where to get a clutch?

PPort 13b on nitrous with a T2 trans. 4 link car. Trans is currently stock so I need to try and shift this hunk of junk at 10k with the syncros still in it. Im thinkin an unsprung disc, perhaps a 3 or 4 puck? Any suggestions on what to get and where? I appreciate it.

Act 6 puck unsprung. If you just need a disk I have a few that I had repucked. There is a new material that I am running that is great, if you ask them you might be able to score one but I know they have a bunch of the older ones they need to clear out first.

I have a NEW (still in box) ACT 6 puck & aluminum flywheel somewhere on my engine shelf... It's been there for 4-5yrs now and I have no plans to use it.. Let me know if it's something you might be interested in, then I'll go looking for it

Id perhaps be interested in the clutch but not the flywheel. Part # off the clutch?

Aren't 4 pucks lighter and therefore easier to shift than 6 pucks?

I went over this with act and they still insisted I would be better off with a 6 puck unsprung. Give them a call, very helpful guys.

sintered iron disc with a good pressure plate you good, funny car style disc .... the more heat they build the better they grab :icon_tup:

The fewer the number of pucks the more the clutch will grab. On my 12abp I used the Racing beat unsprung 4 puck and Exeddy heavy duty pressure plate and had good results. I am now using the cintered iron disc like Joe is recommending and that too would work good but you would have to have one custom made for your input spline and diameter. You should be fine with either the 4 or 6 puck with a heavy duty pressure plate.
