Wideband on Carb'ed 13B?

Would it be worth it to buy a pricy wideband gauge/kit for fine tuning a 13B running a 48 IDA?

Directfreak 08-30-05 03:24 PM

350 for just the sensor, or with the controller?

www.plxdevice.com i'm running the m-300. 300 bucks comes with everything and plenty of wire lenght. big giant display of your exact af/r. and really no matter which you get, you can not truly tune without a wideband. so this is a step in the right direction for ya. :D

Shit!
Imagine back in the 90's I paid between $1500 to $2000 for a wideband!:)

But for afr tuning purposes, wideband is the only way to go, especially on turbo cars. Because the factory narrow-band sensors ($30) last i saw, are only meant to read around stoic.
