Check out the innovate site and Rice Racing’s post about the LM1.
The LM1 is a very good choice not only because it is upgradeable but has almost unheard of great support in this day of age, through their site.

My friends and I use the Lm-1. Great unit.

Is the LM1 better than the AEM And does it come with that hand controller so I am able to monitor the A/F. Can it be pluged into a computer. Will it work with my Microtech LTX 8S?

I think that which one is better has more to do with opinion and circumstances. Which one is better for you.
The worst part about the LM1 Is the size of the hardware the main box is roughly 4x7x1.5’ so it is not small, but the software and options can be updated on it, and you really have to appreciate the amount of support that Klaus gives on his site. Plus a growing number of people are getting pretty familiar with the LM1 around here so help is not far away.
I think they will be coming out with a much smaller version of the LM1 shortly, but for now they have a remote display that can plug into the LM1 if you need something smaller to look at.
Yes it can be plugged into a PC to upload its onboard dataloging, and upgrade its firmware.
I don’t know for sure it will absolutely work with the microtech, though I don’t see why as most WB units use a 0-5v output and the LM1 is no exception.

The Aem unit I heard had a few option that the LM1 didn’t like duel sensor support (for the V8 guys), though I think innovate has added most of the features that its competition had through accessories and software.

Tech Edge is still the best, cheapest and has the best user support.
AEM has been buggy since day 1.
