Moxeys93RX7 08-20-02 05:14 PM

RXTASY1 08-20-02 10:30 PM

I think he is more expensive than most, but in this case, you get what you pay for!

the_glass_man 08-20-02 11:00 PM

Pineapple all the way. :)

Mr. Stock 08-20-02 11:05 PM

I got my Pineapple!

He gives you a warranty on the motor. Who else does that?
Come to think of it, I believe Mazdatrix does too.

BTW, I was turning my Pineapple Racing motor "by hand" today. The compression was shooting the red plastic caps out of the spark plug hole with force

fastrotaries 08-21-02 12:10 AM

there are plenty capable people that can do it. It's not that hard to do. However, when it comes to customer service and help, not many people will want to do that.

the best wankel for your buck

Contact J&H Racing in Bloomington IN (812) 334-4119 we can build you a wankel any way you like!

Dont_Be_A_Rikki 08-26-02 10:18 AM

There are plenty of good rebuilds in the states. I would say they following:

PFS(of course)
Pettit
KDR
Pineapple
Malloy Mazda(reman)

that should do it. I may have forgot some so dont get on me:rofl:.

No one has mentioned http://www.atkinsrotary.com/
in WA.

My brother has a FD street port from them and it's good. Dave at KDR liked it when the car was out there.

I second Dave Atkins. I have a rebuild with a stree port. He has been doing it for a very long time, builds aircraft versions and drag races too. I believe he also offers a two year warrenty!

banzaitoyota 08-29-02 12:05 PM

Whoever you use, get a copy of their warrenty requirements and make sure you understand and can afford all of the requiremnts to have the warrenty honored. There is one shop on this list that has a reputation for not honoring warrenties due to "OIL CONTAMINATION"
