Where Should I weld My POV?

Got my POV!

Where should I weld it to my intercooler piping?

ronarndt 01-22-02 09:34 PM

install POV?

I'd like to know, too. I have the POV and the adapter plate, which is a flat block of Al threaded with some holes drilled for mounting on a flat surface. Substantial grinding and custom fitting to make it fit on either the IC pipe or the IC is needed. Any suggestions appreciated.

Somebody on the other forum responded "as close to the turbo as possible"

POV? I'm guessing same thing as BOV, correct me if I'm wrong.
Evil Aviator I think just talked about best placement.
Some people do one right after the turbo, others do it right before the throttle body, some do one in both places.
The best place is right before throttle body butterflies.
The straightest place, as if air would bounce off the butterflies.
The greddy intake is a good example.
But this is for BOV, so uhm. ok

Here is a link to a thread that explains it better than I can.

Thanks alot
So it basically sounded like a wastegate for the intake.
And basically seems like an oversized version of the little pop up needles you stick in turkeys to tell if they're done on the inside :-D

OH MY TURKEYS READY!
