Piston engine yes, there might be a gain in power, rotary NO. It needs to be vented properly though to prevent blow by and proper turbo oil drainage.

is it alright to get hoses and run them under the car for blow by?

RacerXtreme7 09-05-07 09:08 PM

NO, not unless you like to polute the streets with your oil mess and constantly have your car smell like oil/fuel. Run both lines (one form your center plate near the oil fill and one from your oil fill to a oil tank/collector. Run another line from the oil tank/collector to the inlet side of your turbo. Its OK to run a small filter on the top of the oil/tank collector though its not essentual.

hmm..... alrighty

It's not just a matter of polluting and a smelly ass car, but MOST tracks be it auto X, road corse, or drag strips, if they see you having those lines dangling free under the car, you'll get kicked off!! Why in the hell would you want to oil down a street/track that you'll be driving on? Get what I'm saying? Do a search for oil catch can.
