Turbo Confusion

Hey Guys. I am looking to put a single turbo on my 13b-re (from a cosmo) . It's a track only car and looking to make between 300-350 hp. Would the following turbo work for that? I have read and read but just can't wrap my head around the numbers.

Model: T04B
Compressor inducer diameter: 2.13
Compressor side a/r: .6
Turbine side a/r: 1.32
Turbine wheel P-Trim
Exhaust Outlet: 2.75

welcome to the board. :)

what kind of racing do you do? turbo response will matter more or less, depending on the type of racing. are you looking for those numbers at the wheels? with the right fuel and tuning, it probably can get you there, but i have no idea what efficiency or driving manners it will have.

if the engine is not ported, then you may also want to consider using a smaller turbine housing. i don't think the stock RE exhaust ports would warrant a 1.32 T04 for anything.

on a sidenote, is that your 914? nice ... a bit bare, nice! :)

Thanks. I really don't understand what the different numbers mean in terms of perfromance. It's club level road racing and I may do some auto-X . Yes that's my porsche in pic :) It's very bare 100% tube frame and fiberglass body so super light weight. I just couldn't put a porsche 3.2 in it had to get a mazda rotary :) I am looking for those number at the flywheel this thing is super light weight and driveability and realability are very important to me.

oh ... so the 914 IS your rotary. i see. massive cool!!! :)

anyway, i had just typed out a very long post, but instead of starting with my limited understanding, i decided to start with this:

any other questions you have, just post them and i'll help if i can.
