Stage 2 vs. stage 3 clutch?

I'm in the process of doing an s5 TII engine swap. I'm looking to get a new clutch/flywheel and found two that I'm willing to consider. Stage 2 has a hp capacity of 350 torque 342. Stage 3 is 417 hp 409 torque. I'm going to be pushing around 250 when all is said and done. I think that stage 2 is enough, but can anyone tell me otherwise?

The only person that can answer this question properly is you?

What kind of power are you planning on putting down?

Once you know that, go from there.

If it is stock, just get a stock replacement or an aftermarket with a full organic face.

If you mod it up to 400 rwhp, then maybe you should get the clutch made for that range.

bottom line, get what you need, getting one of these "stage 3" clutches for a stock vehicle that is a DD is a waste of money. It won't make you any faster, it'll be harder to drive, wear out faster, and be a pain in the ass to push down the clutch pedal.

In the end, get what makes you happy, but don't try to over do it.

If none of this makes sense, then just go get a 6 puck unsprung hub clutch with a matching pressure plate, I gaurantee that will hold whatever you throw at it.
