should i turbo my n/a?

ok i am stuck in a hassle, i have a 89 gxl rx7 sitting in my garage and the apex seals are toasted on the rear rotor so it is not going anywhere. my rotary mechanic friend said i should keep the n/a 13b 6 port motor in rather than doing a turbo II swap. he said that he had the same car and put a intake and exhaust manifold, and a 4 barrel holley carb on it and pushed 305hp at the rear wheels. that sounds nice but i would much rather be cruising with the wooooosh! sound, gotta love the bov's. anyways, should i keep this motor and replace the apex seals? or turbo II swap it?? can i turbo my n/a 13b that has higher compression than a turbo II? if so what all do i need to get in order to put this turbo onto my n/a rx7... thanks!

You can bet that rotary mechanic friend was not making 305 whp.
It's not as simple as "replace the apex seals" as you would think. It really means "rebuilding the engine"
Are you up to it?
How much do you know about rotaries?
