Pulse Plugs

:shocking: :shocking: :shocking: :shocking: :shocking: :shocking: :shocking: :shocking:

has anyone seen and/or heard about these being used on a rotary before?

they look very impressive in terms of spark power
how would a 13brew cope with this , ?

There are already several threads regarding these and the consensus is they're a gimmick:

Actually, i called them about 3 weeks ago inquiring about rotary applications, they said that they did not have a plug currently for the rotary but that r&d is developing new applications everyday and they should have something soon. As far as the performance part of the plugs they do work, Its not going to replace sparkplugs, but they are a new reengineered plug that does not go off of the 100 year old design. They have a capasitor built into the plug core and it is charged and released in a long burst not short. I have had them in a 325is and a 745il and they are great, diff noticed and increase in throttle response and fuel milage, maybe added a couple of hp but diff some down low torque.

do you have dyno tests?

I can't give details, but I am working on a research project that involves a MUCH better solution. Assuming preliminary tests go well, I expect to be able to talk my advisor into letting me try applying the technology to my 20B. If I do I will have before and after dynos and a host of other data...
