pre-silenced MP or hi-flo cat

I need to quiet my car way down and want to know which to get. I'm looking at either a N-Tech hi-flo or a Pettit pre-silenced MP. I can't stand how loud my car is now with a straight midpipe. Any thoughts?

Sorry, but I really do not know the answer to your question but instead I had one for you. Do you recommend the Random Tech hi-flow cat...how much did it help performance, what are the drawbacks? What is the N-Tech hi-flow cat? Is it better than the random technologies? I thought about the midpipe but smelling like gas would not please my girlfriend (since of course mine is a daily driver). Thanks for the help.

My rand. tech. cat is basically a gutted hi-flo or midpipe so I really couldn't tell you on the quality of it. When I bought it I thought I was getting a "hi-flo cat" but my installer said there was no baffling or mesh in the cat so I got ripped. A midpipe is very loud, smelly, and you'll only notice a difference above 6K rpms. Between 4K and 6K a hi-flo gives you more power - that's where you want the power. N-tech's hi-flo is cheap - I think $329. Rand-Tech's is over $400 so I'm not sure which is better.

Where can I find the n-tech hi flow cat?
Thanks
