performance question for 12A

I have a 84 12 rx7. I have planned on putting in a turbocharger and nos on it,But I have recently found a site that sells corvette engines for about the price of the turbo. I will have to put the rest of the things like transmission into but I have money for that. Is there any comparison performance wise between the two. The turbo and NOS and the 400 horsepower vette engine? I have seriously thought about the corvette engine because of the power but wanted to ask all of you first. Thanks

No don't do it. Having to put a different trans and propeller shaft would only be the beginning of your problems. I will have problems in your rear dif axles shafts, the whole bit. I think 12A turbo would definitely be better. Also you are going to have to cool that piston engine and your stock cooler would probably not be sufficient. Any ways thats my take. And it will cost you more in the long run for the piston.
