Nitrous + Sidedraft carb?
I've got a stockport S3 13b with a Dellorto 48 DHLA. Nitrous occurred to me. Anyone do this before?

Did a little bit of research. I was under the impression that I could do a 'dry' setup, but it turns out a carb cannot compensate for the additional oxygen and I would go super and lean and blow my engine.
It would be possible, however, to tap my upper intake manifold and run a 'wet' direct port setup. Since I have my stock efi fuel pump, I think I could plumb in a secondary regulator running from the return of the first to supply fuel to nozzles. Anyone know about how much pressure these nozzles need? I suppose it depends on the size of the nitrous shot. |
In theory that should work, but I would plumb in another fuel pump for just the nitrous
