There is a single turbo camaro running high 120traps with a bov that sounds just like that at work, i was just asking him about his setup (wastegate mainly) if i see him ill ask him about his bov

Just get one of those electric ones, then you can change the noise to what ever you want.

That's the lack of a blowoff valve, or a super-tightly wound one.

Tial 50mm BOV if you don't want any leaks

Thats my guess. Hks ssq with a different whistler or cap or whatever they call it.

^^I agree... And if it is a tightly wound one, then it sounds like the Greddy Type R.

i couldnt access the link but i had the HKS Race valve.. very similiar to the Greddy Type R... and it had a loud sharp pitched flutter... until you hear my single turbo mustang(V8) with no BOV... that is extremely loud... it is not particularly good for the turbo though... i cna post a sound if you guys like..

Can the hks bov handle as much as the greddy type r? I love my greddy type r, tial also makes a VERY efficient blow off valve. seems like you just want it for its sound? the ssqv isnt a very good with a lot of boost.

   Do you even know what you are saying?

i was running 23psi from a 20G in a DSM... it held great... it wouldnt lock down at idle though... but i was running a VPC so it open at idle was ok... on a MAS can i think it would be impossible for it to be closed... sometimes at low boost it would sound like the TYPE S Greddy... but at high boost it fluttered

umm, if you want your car to sound just like that... then don't use a bov at all :) if he does have one, then it's wound so tight it's practically closed all the time. that's alot of surge. it's what i do, i sold my hks ssqv cause i like that surge sound better than anything. woot

so everybody agrees this is the hks with the flutter insert? i just recently heard a 400hp DSM dyno with 50mm tial blow off. it was a few feet away from me and i honestly didnt hear much from it? very very low volume hiss but thats it, are they all like that? lol
