Let me be first to congratulate Carlos Gonzalez Jr and Sr.

Check that out, father vs. son in the finals! Going to make a great story for the magazine. As I post this, the final round hasn't been announced yet. |
modified title
its official carlos sr. took the win. i hope that carlos can hold off the lucas sponsored solara for the modified championship. it would be nice to see carlos win another championship without a sponsorship.
i believe that carlos will definately have to go to a 20b (3 rotor) set-up next year. paul efantis has shown that he can run serious numbers, numbers that i doubt a 13b (2 rotor) can match. On a side note, i think its messed up to put it mildly, that the nhra is doing everything it can to stop jesus padilla from winning the all-motor championship. how many advantages do they want to give the fwd? anyways, theres nothing anybody can do. i just hope that jesus can somehow pull the championship out. |
