Kilo(Jesus Padilla) does it again!
Back to back 9 sec runs! Qualified #1 today at Englishtown.
1st run was a 9.98@130mph. 2nd run was a 9.96@131mph! Kilo 'The Proffessor' is whooping up on the fwd's again!:p: |
Hell yea!
he is very consistant and that is what wins races |
Good to hear
|
SWCHHHHHEEEEEEEET!
|
Anyone know his 60ft times? Anyway, great times for a little 1308cc motor!!
|
Just heard he won the event with a 9.92 @ 131MPH!
He is now the RECORD holder :) |
Thats right I spend time over at the Honda forum
and they was saying that Durst really had the record and only lost it cause of the rule change well KIlo has gone and BEAT Leslie Durst record rule change or not! HELL YEA :D |
After a couple shaky seasons and skeptical rule changes, it looks like the rotary dominance is set to reemerge for at least a couple classes in 2004.

I was there and I congratulate Jesus Padilla. He did an awesome job driving the car.
congrats to his microtech tunner. Rolo... considering Jesus and Rolo have no corporate sponsors(like his competitors) they are doing an awesome job. Mazda corp. needs to pay closer attention to Jesus Padilla. and give him a hand. |
Damn i didn't know Kilo is running fuel injection now let alone a MicroTech!

hi Rotary guys
the 60" of the car is 1.33,the 1/8 of the mile is too impressive even for me 6.23 at 108 mph, when we run 9.92 at 131.00 still more to come the car is like 90 pounds overweight, and we have some new stuff from microtech to test, also we have to congratulate Jesus "kilo"Padilla for his awesome driving skills and incredible quick thinking,we will love to put the car in rxtuner magazine please what do we have to do?my name is Rolo Lopez Kilo,s car crewchief i could be reach at www.centralfloridaturbo.com PLEASE DON,T FORGET. |
Awesome!! tunning work Rolo on Kilo's car
You told me he was going to be qucik this year due to the 1/8 runs at lakeland But WOW 9.92! keep it up and bring the Trophy home to florida! Just to let you all know Kilo (jesus padilla) was running 10.5-10.6's on a geneberg weber before Rolo switched the car to F.I and MicroTech and now the car is hauling major ass |
What can I say.................................

Hey guys hmm I just saved Kilo some headache
I noticed the points standings was updated 5/5/04 but the NHRA had posted he was 3rd in points I found that to be wierd since he won 2 events set records at both events and should of have taken the lead in the points standing well I emailed them and they was pretty quick to get to me and said I was right and they would fix the incorrect data..could of been just a oversight on there part by putting the updated date but not the updated DATA eitherway good to see the NHRA top guy is quick to respond makes me have faith in there series thumps up to NHRA! |
Hmmm, I wonder if the Honda's get back on top if they'll make that same "oversight"
Honestly, I dont believe it for one second STEPHEN |
