I got my built engine back!
I had the build done at Aspec. I barely afforded getting it back. I'll let you guys guess what I got done to it just from the pictures.

I'm from Chicago, but don't think I've ever seen your FD around. Does it run? Any pics?

Large Street Port, Studded Engine, and Aspec Racing Apex Seals. I plan on running a 500R Turbo setup. Aiming for numbers upwards of 500+ WHP. I'm in the works of getting the rest of my parts and getting this beast back in the car. I'm from Elgin, about 35 minutes from Chicago. I'm sure I'm the only one with a RX7 in the whole town.
The Benz is a 1969 300SEL 6.3. I painted it a custom Gulf Racing Scheme. It's a torque monster. Hoping to hit low 13's with the benz. |
dude, i really like your motor and all ... but that Benz! ooooh ... sheesh! i'm very impressed. :)

Ok here's some more pictures. By popular demand. I'll try to get a video of it this weekend when it's not raining. I'll do a little smoke show in front of my house. The plates are the originals from 1969. The car was previously owned by John Tower http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Tower Senator of Texas. He cracked the oil pan back in 1983. It sat in the desert until he died in a plane crash in 1991. Then a reknown benz restorer Mark Passarelli picked it up. I guess he had no faith in it so he sold it on eBay. I bought it for $1,600. It was a wreck when I picked it up but it was solid. No rust. 4 Years later this is what she looks like now.
