I ned to replace the -10 fuel hose under my car , I'm thinking of using -10 aluminum fuel line , but what kind of fittings are used to connect it to the other stuff in the fuel system ?

It's kindda hard to see but what I did was to bore out an -AN fitting to fit the fuelpipe, grind the taper off, put it on the pipe and finally flare it with my brakepipetool.

Works great, no leaks

A sleeve, tube nut and proper use of a flaring tool.

So lemmie take a guess , the nut goes outside the tube , the end of the tube is then flared , the sleeve placed inside the tube and the whole thing assembled ? But I dont see any threading on the sleeve ! does the sleeve go inside the tube or outside like in a "traditional " ferrule fitting?

First you slide the nut on, then you slide the sleeve on, then you flare the tube and assemble.
