flaking on housings

I have a question about building a motor for everday use. I have the oputunity to purchase some hgood looking housings except that they have very very very minor flak on the edge. Well can I build a reiable motor with it or can I forget it

Dont think thats going to bee any problem of using it. if u ask me . wher is it ? compresion side ore at the bottom?
