FC turbo question

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows if mazda still makes the 13bt for the fc. i know it is a stupid question but i am just trying to figure out how to get a turbo'ed fc. right now i am cleaning up my truck to sell it and get a FC. I think i can get about $4 thousand for my truck. any suggestions. :worship:

Mazda makes remans(rebuilds), which is the same if you had someone else or yourself rebuild them.

if I were you I would just buy a TII(turbo FC) Rx7 and then rebuild the motor, that is if it needs it. If not then run the motor intil the apex seals pop then rebuild it.

Shop around....you could get a nice FC for $3K.

Mazda has stopped making any new parts for the PP exhaust port type 13B's, I've heard.
All production has been retooled to handle the MSP RX-8 stuff...

Thats been a rumor but it simply isnt true.. I was in Japan for all of April, I asked a few engine builders I know about that rumor, they picked up the phone, and talked to people directly in Mazdas engine plant, there is no plan to stop making any rotary parts, the fire put a kink in Rx8 and miata production but thats about it. They are still making new parts for the 10a..They have production runs for stuff, and sometimes stuff runs out, and they wont retool till the inventory is gone, I think someone heard the factory was out of a certain 13b part and someone went stupid with hysteria...The last FD went off the line in early 2003, I cant see a manafacturer refusing to support a car thats only 2 years old...max

Thanks, does anyone know if the j-spec 13bt motor is any different as far as fitment than its US counterpart? I am asking because i am eventually going to import a rhd shell.
