Different black pressure on the different exhaust ports?
 

I was wondering if you need to aim to have the same back pressure for each of the rotors? I wasn't sure if more back pressure on one would cause a unstable bumpy rev or if it would be fine over all.

But as a reply to your answer, you try to keep backpressure equal, if only so the rotors spin eqaully in the exhaust phase

Backpressure is the devil.

I knew this would happen. I knew that as soon as I changed my custom title from "Backpressure is the devil" back to "I drink MMO and Yoohoo" that someone would post a question about backpressure and its affect on a rotary or if it's beneficial or what have you.

To answer your question, you want as little backpressure as possible. Do whatever you can to minimise the difference between both rotors. This doesn't mean it's ok to run a 4" exhaust system though.

I's sure others will add their advice to this thread if you could fill us in on what you're trying to do with your project.
