My friend has one on his RX-7 and it has something like 195HP. The instant throttle response is extremely cool. It breaks the tires loose in gear on dry road in 1st and 2nd I believe. It's on a streetported 13B with '74 rotor housings, '86 rotors cut for 3mm apex seals, '82-'85 12A side housings, RB aluminum flywheel and SS pres plate and disk. This is in an '82 GSL (LSD diff). I personally wouldn't recommend the aluminum flywheel as it is unnecessary on a SC and a bit jerky on takeoff. The stock squishy motormounts are also to blame. I'd go with a light steel flywheel or stocker if I were you.

By the way, he had to get an '86+ aluminum waterpump because that's what the pulley tensioner bolts to (and is lighter than cast iron, hehe).

the problem is that this supercharger is designed to work on a carb system which has some pluses in it's own respect but might be kind of a big job if you're not sure what you're doing (well it would be a big job for me since i wouldn't know what i'm doing :) ). AR says in it's ad that you could modify it to work with your current EFI system so it is possible.

Unfortunately you would need to find another manifold because this model is for a 4-port block, you can see it in the picture that there are only 4 ports on that manifold. that would also be a problem trying to mount it in a 2nd gen N/A.

bottom line, you can do it if you really want too but it would be a lot of work to get working right.
