Boost Controller Question
 

Im about to buy a boost controller and i just wanted to know the pro's and con's of a basice manual boost controller vs an electronic boost controller besides the difrence in price. Is it worth spending the money on the electronic boost controller

The EBC is nice because you can make changes in the car.. With some of them you can make maps for boost at curtain rpms.


A manual (checkball) kind will react quicker then an electonic one. A bleed valve is a little slower then that.


The con of a manual is you can not change boost on the fly(while driving)

Although turbo-XS sells a dualstage MBC that can switch between 2 boost levels.



I will run a manual boost controller on my cars. But i dont plan on changing the boost often.

thats what im looking to do set it at about 15lbs and just leave it alone.
