anyone ever thought of breaking the rotary landspeed record?

i would say a twin engined all wheel drive streamliner with 2X 20B, single turbo

should do the job, anyone know if there are any rotaries running the salt flats? i

know that racing beat had a rx7 that ran 242mph

I remember seeing a show on land speed cars and the guy the interviewed was saying that it's really a matter about power...that easy. It's a matter of traction to "push" the car faster. The resistance from the air and the power of the engine can overcome the tires. I don't want to be going 250+ and then start spinning the tires! A car need great aero dynamics and I don't think any one of here can throw that kind of maoney at it to do it right.

But yeah I don't think it would be that hard to beat the 242 mark. :)

I have thought about several times. The amount of power RB made with the FC is really nothing out of this world by todays standards.
