Umm there is this guy on the net that claims he owns a toyota supra, with 800hp at the rear wheels, and the thing is he is 16!!!!


In america do they let 16 yo's drive 800hp rw surpa's

This 16 yo claims he got the money of the government, through a promotion for his dj business, he claims his 800wrhp supra runs the quarter in 9.1, do they let 16 year old race cars that quick or let alone drive them???????????????????

to run 9s you have to have a special liscense but you dont even have to have a drivers lisc for that. You can be any age and race

anything could be true. I know of some kids still in high school that have supras. Not 800hp but they race them and get some pretty decent times (12's).

That kid would be known to quite a few people if he had a 9.1 second Supra considering there is only one other supra that is untubbed and running faster. Where exactly did you hear about this kid. I'd like to introduce him to the supra forum they would tear his ass up. I'm not saying someone doesnt own that type of car but i doubt any 16 year old kid has the driving experience to pilot a supra to those numbers.

he could have it. but most young car kids tend to add a lot of hp to there car. :) its like a habit of people that know nothing about cars and think they can fool others. Unless it was like a back half car, i think you would need more like over 1000hp in a supra to run that.

There are some pretty special kids out there. Like the one that made like $800K toying and manipulating the stock market. So don't discount him.
But there are a lot more kids out there with no life, and they like to create a fantasy persona on the internet. You never know.

They pretty much let you drive anything, really. If he had a 2000hp Supra, it'd be the same deal.

I dunno about the government money deal (if it's true then he did some really illegal shit, he embezzled government grants) but there are plenty of really rich parents who just throw money to their kids because they don't know what else to do. Not that there aren't rich people who are good parents, but I've seen way too many situations where the kid bosses his/her parents around to get what he or she wants, and the parents give in because they can afford to buy junior their 3rd new car in six months after driving dunk and wrecking the first two, or whatever, and they're afraid to discipline because they don't want the kid to grow up feeling cheated.

Total BS! Just slap him for me...

First of all, if he has all the money, why would he use it to build his 800hp Supra? Secondly, he didn't mention anything else required to run 9's..like rollcage, and other safety equipment.

Ask him to show you a timeslip, and some pictures of his car. If it coincendently looks like Vinny Ten's Supra, or Craig Paisley's car, then you can slap him around like you're his pimp. :p

Geez, don't believe everything you hear (read) on the Net. Little 16 yr olds have such a great imagination...especially when they're behind the screen with a keyboard.

i though you had to be 18 to even race at the Track...i've seen kids getting ID'ed at Moroso...

Umm... Guys? If some 16 year old kid had a Supra pushing 800 AT THE WHEELS, he'd be one of the most famous 16 year olds in America, let alone he should give up the stupid dj thing and just race everyone, everything, everywhere. that's the biggest bullshit I've heard in a long time.:bsflag:

At Norwalk the Wednesday night bracket racing program has a class specifically for high school students. Some of those guys have some really sick machines too, 9-second tubbed Novas and crap like that. (Borrowing Daddy's weekend racer are we? :) )

Then there are the Junior Dragsters, little kids driving B&S powered mini-dragsters... that would SO rock to be a little kid in one of those. (Some kids have ALL the luck!) A co-worker is getting one of them for his son when he turns 5.

Especially check out "Outlaw Street" - the heads-up class - you gotta run at laest high 10's to even qualify - this is where you see sick stripped-out Chevelles and early Camaros with huge displacement engines and enough nitrous to keep a dentist supplied for a year! Luckly: If he has a Supra with those specs, he's probably going to be wrapped around a telephone pole pretty quickly. Which means even if his idle boast is true, he won't have it for long. ^_^

$36k? Not that big of a deal.
Unlike many other cars, Supras are stupidly easy to get lots of HP out of.

forget what the government lets you drive, what about insurance, i mean DAMN


but if it it runs 9's its probably not a daily driver, so he doesn't have to worry about that stuff, i dunno
