i am in the processes of designing a 4 rotor i am u sing autodesk inventor 10 as my program i am looking for any tips

Here's one, buy a kit. There's no sense in re-inventing the wheel. There's a few places that sell kits. Kiwi-RE and Hurley do so I believe.

Rotary Engine by Kenichi Yamamoto will help with basic rotary engine design:

true i want to desing in Autodesk inventor for my school project. but if you could post a link for a 4 rotor kit that would be great

Been there, done that. Although mine isn't a true 4 rotor (no centre bearings, no multiple peice E-shaft, etc), it was good enough to impress the class. Trust me, a 4 rotor sounds like a good idea until you spend 8 hours on a Mitutoyo CMM and then another 14 hours on top of that, and you've only done the end plates. It's a lot of work. PM me if you need any pointers.

This was done in Autodesk Inventor 10. I hate inventor and I wish I used CATIA instead.

Nice is the 12a 4 rotor ready to go public :) I'm probably going to ask lots of questions haha.

I don't know!!! I was talking to him about it but he didn't seem interested. He's really busy with other stuff.

Well tell him to give me the parts needed to do it and I'll build it. I have everything else... :D
