Are 13b's still in production? (Plus some other more interesting rotary questions)

(:wallbash: , just realized that I'm a noob and this should be in "Other Rotary"...)

I'm not talking about the Renesis. It seems that since 13b's they are used in light aircraft I thought that they may be. If not, when did they stop making them and where would you find them most easily be it JDM or USDM (Specifically in the Toronto area and I know of R.P.M.)? I've heard that only some of the top rotary shops have succeded in fabricating them.

Moreover, what do you guys think of a rotary in a Silvia? RWD and some sweet stylin' if you can get a blown S14 (Yeah yeah FD this and that, but I'm not looking to spend 15k + Maintnence until I'm at least out of University with a solid job). I've been looking for rotary engine diagrams and Silvia engine bay diagrams to see what kind of tetris match and fab jobs i'd be up for.

There is a blown automatic Silvia on Autotrader but I'd want to swap out the trany too (Although if the guy blew the engine with an auto transmission ... I'd question the state of the rest of the car).

An S14 with ~200 pounds less in the front, woohoo!!! SR20 fanboi's watch out!

the idea sounds good, i know its not a silvia but a guy in my area has an AE86 corolla with a single turbo 13b, its pretty sick.

There's a few rotary Silvias here in Australia. You should be able to find some info on the net or at ausrotary.com
