Has anyone ever tried this conversion? I know the 13B RE has many advantages over the 13B REW, such as the stock port size, intake runners being larger. I am considering getting a 3rd gen in the near future and I want to know if this has been done.

The rear plate on the 13b RE is not drilled for the engine mounts. This would be the same as trying to put a 20b in an FD. 13b RE and 20b mount the same way.

I don't know greg, why don't you buy a FD without a engine and drag it over to Minnesota and we'll try to get my cosmo engine in it:D (well this is assuming that my supplier is sending my engine out sometime this week, fingers crossed)
