White Rx7 TII vs Black 4dr Integra in Easley SC AREA.. where are you at?
 

Hey I'm just looking for the guy I raced lastnight in his white TII.. Just wanted to let him know it was a GREAT race.. hopefully he's on here.


Rx7 TII Mods: Turbo'd of course.. Not sure of whats under the hood seen a exhaust system and damn that crap didn't sound stock to me. Throw flames out lol.. If he finds this I would love to know his setup. Great looking car


Integra Mods: BONE STOCK non-turbo.. 4 door GSR. Just suspension work..


What happen:

This took place off of Hwy 85 exit 40 which is hwy 153.


I was driving home from my parents back to Clemson SC and I was about get off the exit and this white Mazda just jumped right in front of me and I was like wow nice car.. Seen him try to pull away from me quick... So I upped my speed and caught up.. As we were getting off the exit he stomped on the gas so did I and I was right behide him. We than found a Red light and LONG str8 dark road and started to race.. I would pull him 1st 2nd and 3rd he would creep and he would get like half a car by me and I was right next to him.... 2nd run I got killed bad cause I stuck to 3rd gear going 40.. and my 2nd gear maxs out at 60-65mph I was like oh well what the hell.. lol.. So after that 2nd race we did it again this time I actually did try.. I jumped him and wow here comes 3rd gear again he creeps slowly and we're side to side he got me by half a car or 1.. I gave him a thumbs up and he gave me a peace out sign lol.. Was going to try and get him to pull over so i can see what his mods were, but nah I was beat from a long road trip witn only 3hrs of sleep I wanted to get home! lol But hey if the guy that I race reads this GREAT RACE! I wish I didn't take my rx7 to the scrap yard and just fixed it..

Probably rotarybeatXXXX (Xs are #s, but I forget them) He's got a super clean, white TII from Easley. I'll let him post his mods.

If your a stock 4 door gsr and the race was that close, I doubt it was a TII.

white Tii in easley does sound like rotarybeat1287. did you get a chance to see the front of the car? nice big FMIC on rotarybeat's car... and i want to think most of the racing he does is in the mountains, but i could be wrong...

hes a huge fan or street racing even with that retardedly broken diff mount he is rocking! im sure he will chime in here at some point. he has to seriously granny shift though, that would be why you had the illusion of keeping up.

I know who rotarybeat is.. thats not Allen.. Allen knows me he's ran my Red Integra before so theres no illusion going on. this guy i raced sure ass hell was not granny shifting. I posted my Red integra in the other thread dregg.. forgot what thread it was on here.. I was also all motor than when rotarybeat had his nice ass front mount on there. He was impressed when I popped my hood for him to see what was going on under there.. he'll tell you what happen. but as for this other guy.. he had some staggered wheels on his car..

I'm sure I can tell that a turbo spooling and the blow off valve.. had the original TII stickers on the car also.. I've owned 4 Rx7's and I loved them but I got out of it to mess with the 4bangers..






I just wanted to clear everything up with EVERYONE that reads this I'm not bashing on Rx7's or anything(I honestly still love them just wasn't making any money on them) I'm just posting up what happened and wanting to find out who this guy was and his mods.. so please keep negative comments to yourself..

Are TII's really that slow? GSRs are only 15 sec. cars, surely a TII can do better than that?

just got a message from allen.. it was him.. He didn't realize it was me since the last time we race I was in my red 2dr Integra. So Dregg was right.

TII's are not slow. I use to own 2 of them and Dregg clearly stated that Allen has to Granny shift.. So thats probably why I was hanging with him.

this was from a roll pancake... but my car isn't neck breaking fast either. I'm not worried about it.

Yeah it was me that was racing Billy. I really wasn't paying attention to him until we got off the freeway and we started messing around. Billy's red 2 door Integra did beat me pretty good when we first got my fmic finished. We pulled over and chatted for a little bit after that race. I think you said that you weren't running stock gearing if I'm right Billy...?!?!?! He was steady pulling me.

But yeah, Friday night I wasn't really beating the snot out of my car b/c of my diff mount being busted up but I'm not making excuses. It was close for sure! I would just ease past him in the later parts of 3rd and 4th.

Billy they are the same wheels from when you last saw my car. I just added some cheap ass spacers to the rears that will soon be replaced with nice ones.

I'm kinda confused? I beat a integra with my TII stock (gutted) exhaust and intake pushin 7 psi on ported s4 turbo..

With your mods, even if you were playing around it still shouldn't have been close, but to each his own.. every car is different I guess. I've yet to ride in a TII with similar mods as mine that pulls anywhere close as hard. Those results are just a little disappointing thats all... but good race tho!

Correct sir.. my red integra had a 4.7fd and lsd.. short gearing.. the car that you raced me in Friday night is really bone stock other than the skunk intake manifold and a long gear ratio and the stock ECU I was running SUCKS ASS. I just had a base map of a ITR burnt to go into my car so it'll run much better with the skunk manifold now. no more 2nd dary butterflies. if that mount was fixed you've gotten me BADDDDDD cause I seen you pull me.. But that last race we had was awesome! I was actually trying.

I still have my red 2dr integra it's getting a full make over internally sitting on jackstands at the shop right now.


Well Allen it was a GREAT race.. I have something going into the little 4dr sleeper soon. Should come by the shop and check it out.. 1320 cseng located in Spartanburg.. We DYNO tune also!

Somethings definitely wrong there. I pull on GSR's in my non turbo with a busted diff mount. A busted mount isn't going to make your car slow as dirt, its just going to make the rear end clunk against the body.

not driver error... He just didn't want to break anything else on his car.. Yes it's true about a TII should walk a gsr all day long I use to own a TII and walked GSR's but not all day long. When my rx7 was heated up after 3-4runs it was SLOW ASS CRAP til it was cooled down.. My jdm gsr pushes only 190hp.

wow, lots of hate in this thread. I have beat numerous cars such as Subaru WRX's w/ some mods (pulled him by about 2.5-3 cars every time) ask Dregg100, Integra Type-R several times over, and held dead even w/ a K series hatch when I had my top mount, S4 turbo and running 7psi.

Either Billy is being super modest about whats done to his car or I just suck @ driving and my TII really is slow as balls. But either or, his red Integra did pull me every time we raced.

I really don't mind admitting the outcome b/c Billy is super cool every time we run into each other and is a nice guy. So let him enjoy it. Tho I am replacing my diff mount this weekend and I would like to run the black 4 door again if that is cool w/ you Billy? From maybe some different rolls and what not you know. Just for fun as always!

Not making excuses but my car seems to have 2 different moods that its always in. Nothing more than 2. It is either quick enough to get me excited and enjoy boost b/c it feels like it hits super hard and pulls fantastic or some days it just feels like its just poking along and like I can't even feel the turbo spooling and feels heat soaked. I dunno tho. lol.

I enjoyed racing with you.. But no1 is listening about the fact you did BEAT me. So what if he beat me by alittle. like they say in " FAST IN THE FURIOUS " lol " it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile... winnings.... winning... " haha

You know I'm game for it to run again. I'm not being modest the 4dr it is bone stock with just the jdm Gsr swap in it with a LS(long geared ratio) transmission. You know I would tell you whats in my car like I did the 1st time we race in my other car. No need to lie it's all fun and games. You were pulling on me if it wasn't for you having to granny shift like I said you've gotten me BADDDDDD.. Also Yes I believe you about the " your car has it moments " my rx7 did too thats what I hated! No one freaking believed me about it..


I just added a itr header with a 2.5 collector.. Burnt a ITR base map so my car feels ALOT diff now.. no more lagging....

Ok! finally, so it's not just me going crazy! tell me why one day I can pull a modded 02 gt mustang and the next only slightly pull a lightly modded 90's crx.... I swear these cars only go when they want to and on their terms huh :hahaha:

Wait, theres something wrong here lol. how in the hell can keep up with a moded TII? no way. i would of smoke you in my little supercharger with 8psi
