When Ricers Collide.
 

Ok, this is a true story the people didnt get hurt but there pride did.

It started off on a warm day. I was cruising around my town just bumping my system like i normally do, and i hit a red light so i was just sitting there. Along came this other guy and buddy in a black 92 to 95 civic hatch, just slammed to the ground sitting on the stock DX or HX black steelies and they are looking at me checking the car. I looked at them and waved. They nodded back at me with that my car is faster than your car look, so i just nudged and turned it up. Than to get my attention they started to rev up (like bouncing off of 6500 rpms repetedly). The light turned green and i pull off the line not racing just driving casually listening to my music, and they rev up cause they are driving next to me. So, i look again and they give me the thumbs down (by this time we are catching up to traffic that just pulled in front of us) and reved again and so i just drive not caring for who or what they are or were. They finally realized that they werent getting the reaction they wanted from me. So they had to be the street racers that they claim and take off like a bat outta hell and without paying attention to what was going on. So when they took off like a madmen with the thumbs out the window (around 50 MPH in a 30) they shot up in the traffic quickly smashing (rear ending) into a car (Daytona Hatch with Fart Muffler and when i say this, i mean it was the mother of all fart mufflers cause that baby SH?T black smoke everywhere) turning left.

Well after the 2 ricers got into accident they pulled off onto a side road. Which gave me ample time to check out the clutter on the road (where i collected his honda emblem). After i got his emblem i drove around the block to see the damage done to the cars and also to rub his stupidity in his face.

The damage to the Daytona was a hardcore messed up rear end and a severly blown out (hemroidish like) Fart Muffler, but the civic was messed up badly. The hood was bent, so that it was half way up crinkled in the middle, no headlights, radiator was spitting fluid, and had to be toed back home 65+ miles.

To rub in the Stupidity. As i was driving by to continue on my cruising destination, they saw me and watched me stick out my hand give them the thumbs down and flash the owner his "H" symbol. Then bring it into my car as i whispered to him "owned".

Man did his face turn red, I loved it, it was awesome.

Thank you for reading this and hope this takes in effect on how sometimes we act as drivers cause this could happen to you and somebody could get seriously hurt. These guys are lucky they didnt get any physical damage, but im sure his pride must of dropped a couple levels.

Good story! One thing though- Celica peers? I take it you posted this on a Celica forum first huh? LOL, I don't take being called a Celica peer personally, but some folks on here might :D

oh lol i forgot about that, thats when i had my celica, and ya it was originally posted it there i gave it a TTT so newer members there could get a hint of reality, and the original was back in 2006, but there is no mean to insult to anybody here by the term celica peers, just forgot to edit it so dont take offense. i still have the emblem to

I love how the best way to aggravate these guys is just to not race them.

anyway i got ricer rolled by a honda last year, he tried to show off to my FD on the expressway. 5 seconds later...i saw a state trooper gunning it after him with the lights on. down the road i saw him pulled over, it was comedy gold!

I'm hoping for the perfect ricer setup.

Pulled up at a traffic light lined up with a honda civic.
Exactly 2 cars behind him, there is a cop and i see the cop.
Civic owner revs his engine and pulls up a bit.
I look and nod.
He peels off going from 0-60 in 10 seconds.
I take off normally, easing off the clutch slow and easy, upshifting to second at 3000rpm.
Cop flies around the 2 cars, me and pulls civic owner over.

I point and give a nelson laugh.

another story that couldve had a big consequence:

i was driving spiritedly with my brother in the FD bout 2yrs ago. we usually go down this long stretch of highway that joins with a long curvy road (they are wide as well). i decide its time to redline the car since i had been driving it normally for the past few days. i took it up to the top of 3rd gear at WOT slowed down, and turned right to the curvy road, i made it pretty good too with a nice exit speed before slowing down gradually to the speed limit. i look in my rear view mirror and i see these lights trying to copy my line, they swerved a bit but he was right on my ass shortly after.

i started to think "oh shit, thats probably a cop who saw me goin fast back there...". so i drive normally and im being gated to feel pressure to step on it. we reach the stop sign, i take off without any fuss and the guy was a truck i apparently had inadvertandly passed pretty bad. he took it rather personal so he started flooring it next to me on the incoming lane...

my bro is like "WTF is his problem?" i didnt think much of it as i continued on until i saw this expedition stuck in the middle of the road backing out. incoming traffic was on its way too from the lights i saw on a wall. the truck next to me is just gunning it. "that fool is going to crash!!!"

i look to see if someone is behind me, its clear, i slow down hard and drop it to neutral to coast to see the incoming disaster. the truck passes me and he didnt notice until the last minute. he slammed on his brakes sending smoke into the air and the expedition was oblivious. incoming traffic swerved around the moron who went a little off to the side while braking. that was a potential 5 car pile up. nobody was hurt fortunately. we went on home laughing at how my FD brings us incidents such as these. gotta love texas!

^ Me either. I had one honda try and race me 2 weeks ago, but we were going the same way down a 2 lane st, that was always busy. We get out a lil ways and he turns down a side st that is hardly ever active and just coasts down the st slowly. So i turned down the st and followed him. As soon as i turned down the street he mustve changed his mind, cuz he took off with out waiting for me to line up. Maybe he thought he needed the headstart?

Just for those of you worried about endangering others, the area we were driving thru was pretty much away from stuff. The side road was about a mile and a half of flat road surrounded by a few houses and open space. You could see the stop sign at the other end as soon as you turned onto the rd so there wasnt much room for suprises
