some war stories at 8-9lbs.

well my car has just finished breaking in. i broke it in to 1k miles and now i am bringing in the boost 8-9lbs. well had 3 short encounters with different cars. first was a stock 350z on I4. we started off at 60 to 110, beat him by 2 cars, never shifted out of 5th :). i had only hit full boost by around 100, but never got the gate open. next was a 240 with an sr in it. ran from 40-70 and pulled just over one car by the end. next red light we got to some quick talking. it was full bolt on, fmic, black top at 16psi. lastly was an rx8. it was modded, not sure if it was turbo or not. it looked just like the rx8 from mazsport which has a greddy turbo kit in it. either way, same type of pull as the 350z, never pulled it out of 5th. was from 70 to 110 or so. we were just about dead even, i was very slowly pulling when full boost was starting to come in. not bad for 8-9lbs and 10.0 afr's. i really like my new setup spools great and pulls pretty strong even at low rpms. btw wondering if anyone on here is familiar with 240s and how much power they put out at those levels? i heard around 250whp....

I know a little something about Nissans. They put down either 205 hp, 220 hpand 250 hp beings that there are 3 different black tops. Its most likely the 205 one but blacktops are harder then the redtop ones. Anyways back to the hp its has a quick spooling Garrett t25 at 7 lbs it makes 205 so at 16 its more like 280-290 and with bolt-ons and a aftermarket manifold it should be almost 320-330. I think he only had a stock redtop is any with a lot of boost and nothing else. Just my 2 cents.
