Saw an FD run even w/a Hayabusa from 80 to 165 w/my own eyes!

The bike is stroked to 1400cc with Mr turbo's turbo kit. claims that he made 280rwhp at 14psi.

No I took that picture from your friend when I was sitting on top of Starbucks trying to figure out what would make me a cool person on the world of internet forums....

Here are some more I took of his very bike.

Now since I must be lying let me educate you.

Starting in 2002 Suzuki started making a limited or special edition Hayabusa every year. The difference between a standard Hayabusa and a limited or special edition was nothing more than cosmetic features. These features included a black powdercoated frame and swingarm, a solid color instead of the traditional two tone paint scheme and usually a limited/special edition badge on the upper tripple plate (but this has been found to be forgoten on some bikes, Suzuki is currently looking into this). In 2002, the first year of the "limited/special" edition they went with an solid black paint scheme. In 2003 it was a BURNT ORANGE color, 2004 solid red, and this year, 2005 is a charcoal gray. The history of these can be found here in this web link.... http://www.suzukicycles.org/GSX-R-se...Hayabusa.shtml

So.....what I'm trying to say is that your friends bike is nothing special as far as paint. It's not custom paint there are many out there the same color, but since there was only a limited number maid you more than likely have never seen one before. If you want to do some reasearch though, if you don't believe me, look at your friends exhaust (if he even has one and not just a dump pipe) I would be willing to bet a large sum of money that he does not have a Brock Hindle Exhaust, they can not let enough flow through to support a turbo.

Now the helmet, it's a Shoie X-11 Norick Replica. So anyone, even you can go out and purchase one for a little over $500.00. They even come in a shiney new blue color instead of the nuetral color base on the model I have.

I hope this helps.

I never said that you were lying, but I do question the fact that everything looks the same (color, helmet, etc...) I do know about the limited edition on the busa but never knew that the burnt orange was one of them. Glad that you told me so that I can tell that guy his paint wasn't any more special than the rest of 200-500 other busa out there. LOL

It's cool, I just felt like I was being called on that is all. Unless I'm mistaken I think there were close to 1500 or more made in that color. There are a ton of them out there.

The biggest difference is torque though, the Busa makes about 80ft/lbs at a little over 3000RPMs and peaks close to 100ft/lbs, the litre bikes usually don't even make 80ft/lbs peak. Once you get around 125mph the weight thing isn't really a factor anymore and now it's all about aerodynamics and this is where the Hayabusa has an advantage over all the other bikes (just slightly over the ZX12R though which is like a hair behind the Busa in most tests). A lot of people don't understand how a Busa can be faster than a litre bike when they all have close to the same amount of power, but the peak power isn't the only thing that matters.

umm dude get ur facts str8..the busa used to be the fastest bike. The new 04 and 05 zx10r and the new gsxr 1000 are now the fastest bikes bar none, with the ninja having a hair thin edge in power and w8t, just though u should know

End result though is you beat him. I love seeing videos of cars beating bikes because it knocks down the ego of all the "invincible" bike riders out there. Keep it up.
man i got a headache reading thru all the i know more then bs. I believe the car won fom the roll, with that hp its quite possible, but i also think the rider sucked **** too. but again to reiterate, a car with that hp, and a good rider can match almost anything out there even very strong bikes on the top end.

yeah this what happens when u have crazy hi hp, low w8t, and a **** pushing thru gears at 5k versus redline...on a bike lol

Wow . . longest thread I have read so far on here. . .

I am fairly new to the FD scene and the rotary concept so I wont pretend to know anything that I dont. . .I just want to compliment Pluto on an amazing kill. I posted it on my local car forum here in Kalamazoo, Michigan Kzoorice.com

I just thought it was a seriously bad *** race and hope to eventually beat the local "fastest car" an incon twinturbo LS1 TA. . .haha. . Videos on the site if you want to check it out. . .

Good Kill Pluto!
