So I coming home Friday night and I notice this new family moving into the neighborhood around the corner from my house. Nothing unusuall, looks like your typical family with 2 cars and a couple of kids from the looks of it so I wave, turn onto my street heading down to the cul-de-sac and pull into my driveway. Later that evening I leave to run to the store to get a couple of things and I notice the father and one of the kids in the drive-way messing with some kind of 3 wheeler bike. I was like, that's cool. Dad and son doing the bonding thingy with an old school 3-wheeler.

The next morning I get up and start doing the Saturday thingy. I head out needing to pick up a couple of things (seems like I allways need a couple of things) and come back. When I pull onto my street which like I said ends in a cul-de-sac in front of my house, I'm like "aw hell no". The kid with the 3 wheeler from the night before is in the cul-de-sac going wide open in circles like a mad man with no helmet on. My first thought was to park it and go ask his parents, who are no where to be seen, why the hell are they letting him ride around the like that especially without a helmet but I come up with a better idea to teach the kid a lesson.

Seeing as I'm in my trusty 'vert which we all know while not the fastest thing on four wheels it is a 7, which means I can corner and run around in circles like a madman also and I know this car's limits real well for stuff like that. So I quickly take a look around the car to make sure I'm not gonna toss anything around (yeah, like there's anyplace to put something in a 'vert in the first place), turn the cd player off, adjust my ass in the seat and proceed to launch down the street as fast as I can. He's so into it he doesn't see me coming and I've timed it just right so that I'm able to pull the car in right behind his ass by a foot or two. We make about a circle and a half with me on his ass and closing when he finally notices me. You should have seen the look on his face. He had to have wet his pants or worse. He just about loses it in front of me and I decide that maybe I should back off and just pull in my driveway. All of the sudden this kid does the unimaginable. He jumps off somehow landing on his feet and runs to curb where he stops, turns about and just stares at me with this dumb look on his face. Meanwhile the damn 3-wheeler keeps rolling, heading straight for a neighbor's car. I'm like "oh shit" maybe this wasn't a good idea but damn I'm so tired of 4 years olds and their damn tricycles running around the neighborhood like they own the place bumping into parked cars and leaving their shit in the middle of street in front of my house when they have a yard to play in....
