killed srt and evo
saturday night my freind and I are cruising aroud the local street racing circuit in his lightly modded fd when this whole pack of racers come up behind us at a light. The two cars to our right are revving like they're about to go at it, not wanting to be left out my freind in the fd revs up and both the srt and evo drivers look over like they own this place and his car is crap. So finally the light hits green and I feel my whole body get sucked into the seat as my freind slams the gas the evo keeps up until about 3rd gear then we see this srt maybe 6 lengths back get a whole new burst of speed and starts gaining on us my freind shifts into 4th but this srt stays about a car length behind us until about 110 when we had to shut down due to another stop. When they both get beside us at the stop the epression on their faces was priceless. After this race I have a new found respect for srt-4s they maybe just fancy neons but they are f**cking fast.
p.s.my freind runs a low 11@15lbs of boost |
Are you saying he didn't hook until you got 6 lengths ahead? lol. He's more powerful, but not faster. FWD = teh suck.

As much as we all hate to say it, those SRT's can make some pretty big power quite easily. Too bad they weren't a RWD format...they'd be REALLY fast cars then.

i've heard many rumors about the srt since the race such as nos,a more top end oriented car basicly people trying to give some kind of explanation for the sudden burst of speed.i'm not for sure though.
I've also heard they had a really strong 3rd gear could that be the reason. we still beat them though :pokeowned |
ya i would say that a car thats behind 4 car lengths and gets a burst of speed is obviously squeezing nos. good kill still.
