Killed: A****** SC400

I've a 93 R1. It's pretty clean. Other than rel mods, the only thing I did to it was change to eibach/tokicos, ACT flyweel/clutch, and my second engine has a mild port.

I don't street race. I've too many tickets and do think innocent bystanders getting hurt is a concern.

Yesterday, however, after work, on my way to dinner, there was this riced-up Lexus SC400 that would not get off my ass. I really wasn't in the mood to dick around, but he kept riding me through 3 stoplights. At that point, we were nearing the intersection of Cushing Pkwy and Fremont Blvd. The special thing about that portion of Cushing is for ~3 miles, there are no lights, no stop signs, and no buildings. The road is completely flat and you've visibility all the way down. Cops can't hide, pedestrians don't walk there, and there's almost no traffic.

In other words, I was gonna let him have it.

My godsister had a SC400 so I'm familiar with the car but have never really seen it pushed to its limit. I was about to find out. At the light, he gunned it. I went around 70%. Even through 1st and 2nd, I was pulling on him. By 3rd gear, he was finished. No big surprise. Performance luxury cars. Pfffffft. Nearing my turn onto Bunche Dr, I shut down. To my surprise, he kept coming. Performance Luxury car owners. Pfffffft.

The thing about the FD is, stock, it's not really a muscle car. 260 hp on a 2700 lb car is very respectable but, in a straight line, without any mods, we're sitting around with most modern sports cars. A 330i, for example, does 0-to-60 in 5.6s. That's stock FD range.

The corners, however, are a different story. The FD is made to track and, there, it takes no prisoners. Cushing and Bunche is a 90 degree turn. Bunche is wide and fairly deserted, however, so you've room for error. I took it without slowing down and without banking left before the corner. I heel-toed perfectly and accelerated cleanly through the exit. It was exhilirating. The guy in the SC300 tried to follow my line, not slowing down either.

He fishtailed so bad, he almost wrecked against the curb. LMAO!

I slowed down, waited for him at the stopsign (both to gloat and see if he was ok). He stopped behind me, not wanting to make eye contact.

He didn't tail me after that.

For someone who "dosent like to street race" you sure do put on an Initial D performance.

MazRx7FD 07-28-08 05:09 PM

Did you have the initial d theme blarring in your car?

Easy with the fd. Dont be a statistic. And also, nice of you to look out for bystanders, my friends grandma got killed by a riced out civic who tried to have a initial d moment and plowed through a red light, when his brakes failed, or something to the similar. Regardless, be as careful as possible, besides im sure you dont want to destroy your fd.

Careful.

Days of Thunder theme actually. 80''s synth theme > 90's euro synth theme

Man my best mate has one of those, hardly worth bragging about the kill. But the sc400's handle pretty good for what they are, saying that nothing like a 7 does =D

sly-sa22c 07-29-08 06:34 AM

so you went through the corner without braking.. yet you heel toed?

wat?

GOB 07-29-08 01:23 PM

i'm not bragging about the kill. i said it wasn't anything in the op right? i'm laughing at how he almost wrecked.

i'd already beat him and was cruising around 70. he tried one of those bitch flybies. i didn't brake into the turn but u lose enough speed b/c of the cornering angle you're gonna need to downshift coming out.

93rx74lyfe 07-29-08 01:55 PM

Your are bragging about the kill or else you wouldn't have bothered to post about it and you sure as hell are bragging about trying to get someone to wreck their car. Sounds hippo-critical from someone who stated he doesn't like to race because of the risk of hurting someone.

vh_supra26 07-29-08 04:08 PM

cool story

man, you got a hardon for me or something.

first off, not only do you intentionally not read what i write about the kill being no big deal you fail at logic as well. just because i post a personal story doesn't mean i'm bragging about anything. there's a third possibility. maybe i'm just amused somebody could be so dumb?

and secondly, how's it hypocritical? first off, he didn't get hurt. second off, he's not an innocent bystander. third, i didn't provoke him into racing. fourth, we raced on a safe section of road. fifth, he almost wrecked not during the race but after b/c he was a douchebag with road rage.

you kind of remind me of him, all this irrational anger and all.

Lets see how is it hypocritical, you dont condone street racing yet you do it any way. You dont want others to get hurt (innocent public) but you drive your car like a bigger ass hole than the one behind you. All your proving here is that your not a man of your own principals and handle things like an immature child.

Oh I can see where this thread is going....

you are weird. make no sense buddy.

GOB - did you perform one of those mystical JDM Tokyo Drift/Initial D "accelerator and clutch" heel-toe shifts that do NOT exist? A normal heel-toe involves BRAKING so if you heel-toed during a curve you did in fact use your brakes!! Did you "double clutch" or "granny shift" when you downshifted?

If your original post makes sense to you, you need to get some help ASAP.
Here's the remedy: Run down to the local High school, college or sports Gym and ask for the biggest ROID-head in the area. When this drug horse enhanced caveman walks out you have to look him dead in the eyes and say: "I just boinked your parents, your grandparents, your sister/Girlfriend, your brother, your dog, your neighbor's cat, the leather seats in your jeep and your boyfriend named JoeTomBob. They enjoyed my performance so much they told me I should hand deliver the PINK SLIP to you. YOU ARE FIRED from your family because they is my ho's now! " Don't run because that will cause death and void the clinical purposes of this beating!!

The roid-rage fueled pummeling that he gives you should be able to extinguish 99% of the FNF, Tokyo Drift, Initial D and other movie antics that are clouding your BHU (Brain Housing Unit).

Suggestion for your next post in here: refrain from embellishing when making a post in here (pretty way to say "a white is still a LIE!!") because you will get passed around like a crack ho' on welfare check day! Say what you need to say and then answer the questions and/or accept the kudos/heckling.

93rx74lyfe - chill with the name calling! The OP's comical post can be picked to pieces without the use of foul language.

I was thinking about going into the turn, but damnit, you're right. I braked. Owned by you.

I double clutched, though, so gimme some slack for my "Initial D euphoria." And thx for the suggestion on name-calling a meathead but I just visited my mechanic and with the cost of some of the maintenance I gotta do... Well, the one word to describe it would be: shrinkage.

Enzo, I can't remember if the lexus was dark green or black but it did have gold rims. The driver was a 25-ish white guy though

Enzo R! 08-03-08 08:55 PM

Ohhh.... wait do you live in or near the Fremont area.

Morondongon 08-03-08 09:12 PM

Nice story... very nice...

Gouki7 08-28-08 04:21 PM

lol welcome to the community. One thing to note make sure when you put up a kill story it makes sense and doesn't have "holes" in it. ;D because people on here will pick you apart

Why did you double clutch? Just curious. :dunno:
