How to kill a RX7!

I'm into racing rx7's like the rest of you guys, but I race them on dirt. Well I actually use them for demolition derby's. Those back ends pack in great once you tuck the tiny ass trunk lid in half and slice the rear frame on the top half. I full tracked a 60's chrysler imperial nose to nose and stood the front up about 2 ft. I placed 2nd with it and took home $500, but I just wanted to share w/ you guys how I kill an rx7 :bj:

first what trunk lid? second i dont beleive you rx7s would be a horrible derby car, im pretty sure youd rather have somthing heavier and with torque

RX7_2ner 11-06-05 07:59 PM

That's what I do with supra's.

LOL. What an inflammatory thing to put on an RX7 forum!

The derby was a 80's and newer compact class. I'll dig up some pics soon.

Agreed, you would have to cut the hood to fit a c5 ls1, an alterntor sticking out of the hood would definetley kill the looks!

seventh_rx 11-09-05 06:17 PM

So what. It'd sure haul some ass.

turboR1 11-10-05 08:12 AM

It would haul just as much ass with the little 2 rotor it came with and be much more impressive...

i personally wouldnt put a piston engine in a 7, but putting an LS1 in one is that bad of a deal, i have a problem when people put regular shitty 350 small blocks in them. The LS1 is actually an efficient motor... but still not my cup of tea.
